Allison and Brian had a beautiful fall wedding in Allison’s hometown of Vernon Hills. They were married in Allison’s family church, St. Mary’s, and the reception was at the Metropolis Ballroom in Arlington Heights.
The Metropolis is a great wedding venue—with wooden floors, wooden beams, and beautiful outdoor veranda located right in the center of downtown Arlington Heights. Although it rained before and during the ceremony, it cleared up just in time for the bridal party to take photos at the Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve.
The guests were able to mingle and enjoy hors d’oeuvres in the Vail Room of The Metropolis where we had hung photos of Allison & Brian mixed in with some of their favorite quotes from country songs. This was a great personal touch.[/vc_column_text]
TVK Orchestra provided the entertainment for the evening. A solo pianist performed during cocktail hour and dinner and then the nine-piece orchestra took over for the dancing portion of the evening. The dance floor was definitely the place to be, and Tina with Artisan Events was there to capture every moment!
