Nicole & Brian’s happiness throughout the planning process was truly contagious. I absolutely adored them and all the special touches they put into their wedding making their day unique to them. While I learned many things about them through our meetings and conversations, one reoccurring topic that repeatedly came up was their love for pizza. This came to life in their American food station during cocktail hour at the Intercontinental Hotel that overlooked the bustling Michigan Avenue. It also popped up again for their late night sweets from Sweet Mandy B’s that were not only adorned with pizza cupcake toppers but also presented in a pizza box from where one of their first dates took place. We also had to mention different types of pizza to keep the bride from happy crying as the day went on! But enough about pizza, their day was the epitome of a little slice of heaven.
Both Brian and Nicole got ready at the Intercontinental Hotel surrounded by the family and bridal party. Bridesmaids sipped on champagne and chatted the morning away until Nicole transcended down the suite’s stairs in a stunning Amsale gown.
Nicole carried a bouquet of Dahlia’s, garden roses, clematis, and ranunculus, by Lincoln’s Park Dilly Lily, down the aisle of Chicago’s historical Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Afterwards, the bridal party visited several other iconic Chicago locations for their portraits.
Nicole & Brian’s new monogram graced their invitations and lit up their dance floor in the Intercontinental ballroom where guests danced the night away to the Chris Sarlas Orchestra! Congratulations to Nicole and Brian!
